Step-by-Step Guide

🇪🇪 Step 1: Research Universities and Programs
Explore English-taught programs at top Estonian institutions such as the University of Tartu, Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), and Tallinn University. Identify programs that align with your academic background and career goals.

🇪🇪 Step 2: Check Eligibility Requirements
Ensure you meet academic qualifications (e.g., HSC/A-Level for Bachelor’s; Bachelor’s degree for Master’s). Most programs require proof of English proficiency—commonly IELTS 6.0–6.5 or TOEFL iBT 72–90. Some courses may have subject-specific requirements.

🇪🇪 Step 3: Prepare and Submit Applications
Apply online via the DreamApply portal used by Estonian universities. Upload all necessary documents, including academic transcripts, passport, motivation letter, and proof of English proficiency. Make sure documents are properly certified and translated if needed.

🇪🇪 Step 4: Explore Scholarships & Funding Options
Check for scholarships offered by the Estonian government (such as the Estonian National Scholarship Programme), Erasmus+, or university-specific funding schemes. PhD students may be eligible for fully funded positions.

🇪🇪 Step 5: Receive Offer and Accept Admission
If selected, you’ll receive a conditional or final admission letter. Accept your offer by following university instructions and paying any required tuition deposit or semester fee.

🇪🇪 Step 6: Apply for Student Visa (Temporary Residence Permit)
Apply for a temporary residence permit for study at the Estonian Embassy in New Delhi (which covers Bangladesh). Submit biometric data, proof of admission, financial means (approx. €7,200/year), valid health insurance, and other required documents.

🇪🇪 Step 7: Arrange Accommodation and Insurance
Book university dormitory or private housing in advance. Purchase valid health insurance that meets Estonian visa requirements.

🇪🇪 Step 8: Plan Travel and Arrival
Book your travel and keep all key documents (residence permit, admission letter, accommodation confirmation) ready for border control. Attend university orientation and register your residence with the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board after arrival.
